Abstract

ABSTRACT

In the current era of globalization, the company is experiencing a very tight competition, the company really needs a lot of funds to develop the company. Proper capital structure decisions relate to the selection of funding sources, both internal and external, and can be used as a thrust value in strengthening corporate finance. This research aims to know and examine the influence of current ratio (CR), return on asset (ROA), asset structure, firm size and sales growth on capital structure in food and beverage sub-sector company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2012- 2016. The population in this research used 17 companies and samples used 13 food and beverage sub-sector companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2012-2016. The data is taken by using purposive sampling method. Data analysis method of this research is used hypothesis test and tested by using program of statistical package for the social science (SPSS) version 23. Result of research indicate that variable return on asset (ROA) and variable of asset structure have significant effect to capital structure. While current ratio (CR), firm size and sales growth have no effect on capital structure.
