PENGARUH CURRENT RATIO, RETURN ON ASSET DAN RETURN ON EQUITY TERHADAP STRUKTUR MODAL

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Current Ratio, Return On Asset, Return On Equity whether it has influence on Capital Structure of public companies automotive sub-sector and components listed on the BEI period 2012-2016. This study took 12 (twelve) sample companies from the population of 13 (thirteen) automotive sub sector companies and components by purposive sampling. In this study the authors use secondary data, in the form of corporate financial statements. The analysis method used is classical assumption test, correlation coefficient test, multiple linear regression test of panel data, hypothesis test, and coefficient of determination test using StataCorp Stata 14.1 program using Random Effect and Microsoft Excel 2007 model. The results of this study indicate that the Current Ratio, Return On Asset, Return On Equity has a significant influence on Capital Structure. Adjusted R Square value of 0,6937 indicating capital structure influenced by Current Ratio, Return On Asset, and Return On Equity. While the rest is influenced by other variables that are not examined in this study such as the level of sales, asset structure, corporate growth rate, variable profit and tax growth, corporate scale, internal conditions and macro economic.
