Abstract

This study is intended to examine the effect of activity, profitability, asset structure, and firm size on capital structure. The population in this study are all building construction sub-sectors and non-building construction sub-sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange totaling 12 companies for the 2012-2016 period. The sample determination technique used was purposive sampling, so the final sample obtained was 9 companies. Based on the results of multiple regression analysis, the independent variables are Activity, Profitability, Structure of Assets, and Company Size. Dependent variable: Capital structure. The results showed that the Structure of Assets and Company Size had a significant influence on Capital Structure, while Activity and Profitability had no influence on Capital Structure
